USA 250 — 07.04.2026
EXHIBIT A — ZAPPED BLACKHAWK 5-PANEL, BLACK, GOLD ROPE
  1. CH.01

    The Blank

Zapped Blackhawk five-panel. Black all the way through, with a black-and-gold rope riding the brim — the detail you barely notice doing most of the work. We didn't design a hat around a logo. We picked a blank worth building on.

    5-PANEL / BLACK / BLACK-GOLD ROPE

  2. CH.02

    The Stitch

White thread traces the lower 48 in one clean contour — no fill, no noise. Gold 250 sits square over the middle of the country, and the FS badge holds down the left panel. All of it embroidered, none of it printed. Thread holds up; ink gives up.

FROM THE FOUNDER

A LETTER from Jimmy

I didn't start Flipside to sell hats. I started it because everything in my closet was built by nobody, for everybody — no name on it, no number, no reason for it to exist past next quarter.

We cap the run at 250 because 250 is how many I can stand behind. I know our embroiderer by first name. I've held every blank. At five thousand you start cutting corners. At two hundred fifty there are no corners to cut.

Every hat gets a number stitched in because every hat is accounted for. That's not a marketing angle. That's how my grandfather kept his tools, and it's how I keep mine.

WHY IT'S BUILT THIS WAY

STICKY CLAIM

Thumb-zone CTA never scrolls away. The claim button rides the bottom edge of the glass from the first pixel to the last — no hunting, no scrolling back up to buy.

THE NUMBER RITUAL

The number picker turns checkout into a ritual. Picking № 047 off the board is a different decision than buying a hat. You're signing a ledger, not filling a cart.

FACT BEFORE PRICE

Price sits under the edition fact, not above it. Read one-of-250 first and $59.99 lands as the cost of a numbered thing — not a number to haggle with.

TRUST WITHOUT CLIP ART

Trust row above the fold, no icons to fake. Three claims set in plain type — made in USA, no restocks, one of 250 — because a stock-pack shield badge convinces nobody.

ONE FRAME, NO CAROUSEL

One square hero, no swipe dots. There's one hat and one angle that sells it. A carousel is eight ways to delay a decision that takes one look.

ONE QUESTION, ANSWERED

A single accordion holds the only question that stalls a numbered-run checkout: when does it ship. Everything else lives off the page. FAQ pileups are where buying momentum goes to die.

PROTOTYPED AT PHONE WIDTH FIRST — THE LIVE PRODUCT TEMPLATE DOESN'T GET TOUCHED UNTIL THIS VERSION SELLS THE ROOM.

Asked & answered

When does USA 250 ship?

Drop day is July 4, 2026. Hats leave in numbered order over the days that follow — waitlist names first. You get tracking the moment yours moves.

Can I pick my number?

Waitlist order gets first pick of what's left. First in line, first crack. We don't hold favorites and we don't take bribes.

Will you restock?

No. That's the point.

What if it doesn't fit?

It's a snapback — it adjusts. If it still doesn't sit right, send it back inside 30 days and we'll make it square.

How do I care for it?

Cold water, soft brush, spot-clean only. No washing machine, no dryer, no dashboard in July. Let the wear happen — that's the good part.

What does registered mean?

Your hat's number is logged against the run's ledger the day it ships. Sell it, hand it down, lose the receipt — the record holds.
