Zapped Blackhawk five-panel. Black all the way through, with a black-and-gold rope riding the brim — the detail you barely notice doing most of the work. We didn't design a hat around a logo. We picked a blank worth building on.

I didn't start Flipside to sell hats. I started it because everything in my closet was built by nobody, for everybody — no name on it, no number, no reason for it to exist past next quarter.
We cap the run at 250 because 250 is how many I can stand behind. I know our embroiderer by first name. I've held every blank. At five thousand you start cutting corners. At two hundred fifty there are no corners to cut.
Every hat gets a number stitched in because every hat is accounted for. That's not a marketing angle. That's how my grandfather kept his tools, and it's how I keep mine.

SYLLABUS — 5 PARTS / 1 HAT / NO EXAM
Most caps run six panels because six is the default. Five gives you one clean face up front — no center seam slicing through the embroidery. The crown sits taller, holds its shape, and does not fold like a paper bag the first week you own it.
